Dejan Lovren – 8

I’m really starting to love this guy. His transformation has been incredible, and he produced yet another influential performance at the back. He’s gone back to basics, and now doesn’t spend time messing around, which allows him to be incredibly effective with the ball at his feet. His clearances and last ditch tackles silenced any Villarreal threat that got close to our goal, and he really played a massive part in us winning this game.
