Kolo Toure – 7.5

Despite his age and severe lack of speed, Kolo was as outstanding as always against Villarreal. He reads the game with exceptional accuracy, and prevented Villarreal from getting anything on the attack. He tackled and blocked effectively, linking up well with his defensive partner. Deserves another contract, even if it’s only to help our younger defenders improve.
