Can the man! I’m amazed by this guy, I honestly am. He picked up an injury that looked to see him miss the rest of our season, but no, he recovered completely in TWO WEEKS. The determination and passion shown by Can was outstanding, and he played a full 93 minutes after only a few days training. His passing was essential in creating the first goal, and he dominated the middle of the park with effortless ease. The strong German locked up Liverpool’s defence, and constantly applied pressure to Villlarreal until they broke. An outstanding performance from one of our most exciting players this season.
