In Liverpool’s final Premier League game of 2015-16 they play West Brom. All eyes will be on the Europa League final just three days later, so here’s how the Reds should lineup.

The Premier League ends this weekend and Liverpool have this one final game left. Oh, I’ve got a question, who cares? THE EUROPA LEAGUE FINAL IS JUST THREE DAYS LATER!

I can’t wait. When Liverpool were busy drawing FC Sion, or back in September playing level with Carlisle United at Anfield (yeah, that really happened) could this scenario have been imagined for even the most optimistic of dreamers?

There was always hope, though. As long as Liverpool were alive in the group (again, how sad is it that we were just hoping to stay alive after a few games in a paltry Europa League group?) there was always a chance to make it this far.

But last season, Liverpool couldn’t get past Besiktas in the round of 32. Then this season, the Reds were able to take down Augsburg, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Villarreal en route to the final. Liverpool had been pacing to not even be afforded the opportunity to draw Augsburg, let alone United and Dortmund.

Do you know what all of that means? That no one cares about this last Premier League game.

But, the Reds signed up for 38 matches in the league this season so in an effort to fulfill their requirements, they must head out to The Hawthorns and do battle with Tony Pulis and his side.

This lineup likely won’t reflect Wednesday’s final team, but there is a decision to be made about freshness and sharpness. Should the likes of Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho sit to stay as fresh as possible or get a bit of a run out in order to stave a bit of rust?

Rush The Kop’s Liverpool predicted XI.

4-4-2 tight diamond.
