GK Simon Mignolet

Poor Danny Ward. Had he not been injured, he most likely would have played and he deserves some playing time.

But Mignolet will be in because no one wants to see Adam Bogdan play. Please, think about the children.

Mignolet hasn’t been too cataclysmic lately, but is still liable for the typical floundering flap at an elementary level cross. Hopefully he’ll get a few saves, maybe-oh-just-maybe a clean sheet to keep his confidence in top form ahead of the final.
