CB Martin Skrtel

Could this be Skrtel’s last game at Liverpool? It very well might be. He’s someone who’s earned the right to play much more regularly if he wants, and Kolo Toure may be back at Liverpool next season in the veteran last central defender on the team for leadership and attitude, anyway.

Skrtel has been at Liverpool from Rafa Benitez, through Roy Hodgson, Kenny Daglish, Brendan Rodgers right up into the nascent Jurgen Klopp times. That’s a feat in and of itself, anyway.

For as much stick as fans, this website and myself have given this fella, he’s been a brilliant servant to this club, and if he is to leave, I’d wish him nothing but the best.
