Smith, fresh off scooping his Academy Player of the Year award at Liverpool’s end of the year awards, is in line for one last appearance to cap off a surprisingly successful 2015-16.

It seemed as if his time at Liverpool was done before Klopp dropped by and now the decision needs to be made if the club needs another left fullback to compliment Alberto Moreno or if they have one in Smith.

What he’s got going for him is his crossing ability, he gets forward well. His defending has yet to be really, consistently tested. Big decisions for Klopp and co., but Smith has done what he can to make it as difficult as possible.
