Allen will be a tough luck loser in the fact that he likely won’t start against Sevilla in Basel, but he’s played great. He, too, has been an awesome rotation option for Liverpool this season and has taken strides forward without many injuries hampering him this season.

The Welshman has said he’ll chop his beard and hair if he scores in the final. I hope that magnificent mane isn’t forced to be severed, but, there’s not a better reason for it to do so. Plus he said he’d keep his mustache and I’m in favor of any situation that has that side effect.
