GK Simon Mignolet

Guys I mean Adam Bogdan made an appearance against West Brom and he had the stones to rock a ginger bowl cut and maybe he should start in Basel……………

Or no.

Last time Liverpool were in a cup final this season, against Manchester City in the League Cup, Mignolet was exposed on City’s goal. As simple and elementary and non-analytic-derived and primordial this is, goals change games. City had the better of the play leading up to the goal, but it was a soft goal to concede and the optics for Liverpool were looking bleak.

Just because Mignolet couldn’t cover his near post, from a bad angle. C’mon, man.

The Belgian simply has to be better in Basel.
