CB Dejan Lovren
Lovren was left out of the Croatia side for the Euros this summer, which feels insane. But it comes from a rift with the national team manager, which is why it’s not rational to pick fights with the man who is given the responsibility of selecting you.
However…
The row began due to a lack of playing time for Lovren, which definitely feels insane.
Whatever, more time to rest for Liverpool. Lovren has been the underdog story, a tale of resilience and perseverance. He was awful, largely hated by the supporters after his first season at Liverpool. Literally the opposite of Clyne’s start. Now he’s an integral member of the first team, especially after Sakho’s suspension.
