This man injured ankle ligaments and came back ahead of schedule, plays 90 minutes against Villarreal and absolutely bossed the game as if he’d been fit and in form for weeks. A huge accomplishment from the German tank.

Can has blossomed into a hugely important player in the team and just may convince Klopp that he needs not bring in a first rate central midfielder this summer.
