Final 2015-16 Liverpool squad rankings

10. Alberto Moreno
Moreno comes with his shortcomings, yes. Moreno ended the season on an awful note, yes.
But he also at least an adequate fullback, one that was good enough (with no competition, of course) to register 50 appearances this season for Liverpool. He started 28 games in the league, and that’s after he was out of favor with Rodgers.
Moreno was a constant under Klopp and rewarded his manager for the most part until the Europa League final.
Sometimes his concentration lets him down, but that’s not to take away from his other strengths. His incredible pace allows him to rectify some mistakes, he more than willingly gets forward and formed a great partnership with Philippe Coutinho up the left flank.
Moreno has just had too many great games to be tossed aside because of one poor one. He needs competition, he needs someone who can push him and rotate with him. Age is so quickly tossed away nowadays, but he still is only 23!!!! Let him grow, let him live. Bad games happen. It’s okay.
