9. Daniel Sturridge

If this was a list about Liverpool’s best players, Sturridge would be top three. Easily. But, we’re talking about 2015-16, and the oft-injured Sturridge was limited to just 11 Premier League starts and six Europe League starts.

But in those starts, he was prolific. Sturridge scored eight goals in the league and three in the Europa League, better than a goal every other game. His goal in the final was absolutely sublime. I could watch that on repeat for hours and be completely content.

Next season, Sturridge will look to put his injury nightmares behind him. How many times have we said that before? Thankfully, next season seems more likely with how fit and strong he looked for the last few months of this season.
