7. Adam Lallana

In January, I wrote that it was plausible and probably business savvy to sell Lallana to raise transfer funds and try to alleviate a log jam and boy was I wrong.

Today, it’d seem crazy to make that argument. Lallana just got better and better this season and reached what the club thought they signed and exceeded it. Under Klopp, he’s been fantastic.

Lallana made 49 appearances this season and while he didn’t get to 10 goals like he’s more than capable of, he surely made a great impression, especially towards the end of the season.

The Englishman’s contributions in the press has been fantastic, with Klopp calling Lallana his “hunter.”

All in all, Lallana finished with seven goals and seven assists and earned his role in the first team.
