22. Kevin Stewart

In January, Liverpool began recalling the players they could from loan amid an injury crisis and fixture congestion. Stewart was one of those players and reached double digit appearances with Liverpool, six of which were in the Premier League.

Stewart was tidy when he played, a lite version of Emre Can. He pleasantly surprised with above average performances, a calm presence in defensive midfield.

Will he be at the club next season? Who knows. Liverpool have a glut of midfielders, though Stewart could be useful to the club at the bottom of the rotation, though that may not be great for a player who will be 23 at the start of next season.
