10. Joe Gomez
If this was crafted before the start of last season, Jordon Ibe would have been in this slot. He was the heir to Raheem Sterling’s abdicated throne and petty, spiteful Liverpool fans had unrealistic expectations that he was a better player than Sterling, then his 2015-16 didn’t work out to plan.
Gomez was meant to be loaned out, but impressed so much that he was starting at the beginning of the season. The Englishman looks a real prospect going forward and it remains to be seen if Klopp has an effect on the player.
The future for Gomez is exciting.
