1. Philippe Coutinho

Well, that was easy. The first player to take off the board is Coutinho, Liverpool’s most valuable and best player. He’s been the subject of interest from PSG as well as the quiet undertone of Barcelona interest driven by his good buddy Neymar, so if Liverpool are to lose the player, they’ve at least got to get £50million for that right.

Even with that, he shouldn’t be leaving the club anytime soon. Liverpool should reject inquiries and bids for their prized possession to show a form of intent to his teammates as well as the fans, who are dangerously close to becoming accustomed to losing their best players. This is something that shouldn’t be happening if the club are serious in their desire to return to the top.

Coutinho will be 24 at the beginning of next season, which is scary that he’s not in his physical prime yet.
