Liverpool expansion list: If Reds could only keep 11, who would they be?

2. Emre Can

At the top of this list there will be easy decisions. There’s no way that Can wouldn’t be one of the first names down for Liverpool to keep in red for the future. (Double negatives!)

The 22 year old central midfielder was the subject of questions for the first half of the year if he was ready to be in Liverpool’s first choice XI, but those were muffled as the season grew until he reached a height that he is an irreplaceable player in the team.

Can, like Coutinho, is another player that needs to stay at Liverpool and has not reached his prime yet.
