After his maiden season at Liverpool following a £29million move from the Bundesliga, Firmino proved he has the quality to kick it in England. Despite showing true ability in just about one and a half matches before January 1, Firmino still finished with 11 goals and 9 assists in all competitions.

In watching the American broadcast of the Europa League final, Fox Sports analyst Alexi Lalas apparently confirmed he had never watched Liverpool in 2016 because he uttered something to the effect that Firmino was “inconsistent” and “not a Klopp player” and that Klopp “will look to move him on this summer.”
