4. Divock Origi

Liverpool bought Origi in their spending spree after the 2014 World Cup and sale of Luis Suarez. Origi had burst onto the scene in Brazil and edged Romelu Lukaku for a few starts at the tournament, where he became the new young star that fans of all clubs wanted to pry from Lille.

Then it was Liverpool who wooed both club and player for his services. After that, he was rather poor at Lille in his final season, and didn’t exactly sprint out of the gate once he arrived on Merseyside.

People were so quick to judge and render a 20 year old kid to be not good enough, which is hilarious. Origi played fantastically at the end of the season and is an important player for the Reds going forward.
