7. Nathaniel Clyne

All of the knocks on Sturridge are Clyne’s strengths. He’s durable, dependable and consistent. He’s been at Liverpool for one season and already surpassed the half century appearance mark at the club.

At 25 years old, Clyne should be deputizing the right flank for years to come at Liverpool, another reason he’s so valuable to the club. Remember when Glen Johnson took up that position, especially the past two years? *shudders*

When Liverpool signed Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Dejan Lovren from Southampton, Clyne was the one player they needed that they didn’t sign. They rectified this mistake the following summer, thankfully, and he’s been fantastic for Liverpool.
