2. Divock Origi

I’m so happy that Funes Mori didn’t cause Origi to need ankle surgery and miss the Euros. I mean, the tackle robbed Origi the end of his Liverpool season, bar a few minutes against Sevilla in the second half of the Europa League final.

Origi deserves to play in this tournament after how well he progressed during the season, how hard he worked to bulk up for the Premier League, how he pushed through an early goal drought and lack of playing time to force himself to the top of the depth chart and score goals.

The Belgian should be due a good chunk of playing time, be it on the wing or as a central striker. And it’ll be exciting.
