Euro 2016: Liverpool players ranked– Who are most likely to perform?
By Tom Bogert
1. Daniel Sturridge
To continue the theme of these rankings in that the numbers misrepresent Liverpool’s true stamp on this tournament, number one is Sturridge even though he’s certainly not a certainty to start.
But he’ll get his chance. And when he does, he may grab it and not let go. Harry Kane and Jamie Vardy have the inside track to start for England, but Sturridge isn’t far off, if at all. He’s got match winning qualities in him, something that can flip a tournament on his head if he catches fire.
