12. Danny Ward

Danny Ward is on the Welsh squad for the European Championships. Ward is a player that would likely have never participated in an International tournament of this magnitude had it not been for the expansion.

Maybe FIFA will continue to be greedy and tarnish the World Cup and expand so maybe Ward will have a chance to sit on the bench for that, too. Or if Gareth Bale manipulates his gene pool and clones himself as a right footer so there will be a pair of Gareth Bale’s marauding the wings and they’ll qualify legitimately. Then maybe get three Joe Allen’s if science has evolved there. Or 11.

FUN FACT: Danny Ward is about to be apart of his first Euros. That’s one more than Ryan Giggs.
