The Slovakian may not be a Liverpool player for long after the Euros, but, he’s still on the books.

Skrtel probably has the most integral role for a Liverpool player towards their country, which is why the fact that Liverpool leads the Premier League in players at the Euros bellies their true quality. It’s a smokescreen of technicalities.

Skrtel captains his country and will certainly play the most minutes in the group stage out of the Liverpool contingent, barring a red card which is entirely possible.
