Euro 2016: Liverpool players ranked– Who are most likely to perform?

5. Adam Lallana

Sticking in the United Kingdom we arrive at Adam Lallana and his neck beard.

It’ll be interesting to see how Roy Hodgson decides to arrange 11 players on the pitch, which defensive formation will he choose? How will he dull the sharp pressing that could happen with the likes of Lallana, Milner, Henderson, Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane, Dele Alli and Raheem Sterling? All of these players would be more useful pushing higher up the field, maybe with the exception to Vardy just because how deadly he was on the counter, but he’s a good player that could prove elastic.

Lallana will likely be shackled to an outside midfield role if he does play. Too bad Hodgson was born in 1875 and that’s where he learned football tactics.
