RB Jon Flanagan

After a ruinous two years with injuries, Flanagan is able to begin a preseason fresh, without injury.

Flanagan is set to be Liverpool’s first choice backup fullback on either side, depending on if Joe Gomez is viewed exclusively as a central defender nor not next season. Still, Flanagan would still be the favorite to land this role.

The Scouser battled back from those knee injuries admirably but was unable to always be available last season after his debut as part of his recovery. This season will hopefully be different for him.
