Liverpool predicted XI vs Tranmere: First preseason game

Just like Matip, Mane is here now but not in January.

But whatever. The pair is here now and they’re able to play against Tranmere Rovers in preseason!!!

Mane needs to hit the ground running unlike Liverpool’s past few big money signings. Firmino didn’t but at least he recovered his form before it was too late. Andy Carroll never recovered, nor did Christian Benteke. It took Adam Lallana the better part of a year and a half as well.

It starts against Tranmere, but Benteke scored against Tranmere last year and that didn’t seem to help. Even if he sucks in preseason, that’s okay. Whatever it takes to get him ready for the Premier League season.
