RB Jon Flanagan

Flanno retains his place in the preseason first team as Nathaniel Clyne is on a well deserved break and the lack of any other senior options around him.

This season is make or break for Flanagan after his injury nightmares of the past two seasons. Liverpool fans are desperately rooting for him to make it in the first team as you always want a Scouse boy in the team. With Steven Gerrard and Jamie Carragher long gone as well as Jordan Rossiter’s exit this summer, Flanagan is the current torch carrier.

We’ll see if he’s got it or not.
