Now everybody remains furious at Alberto Moreno, insisting he alone lost us two finals last season. In all honesty, no he didn’t. He does have HUGE problems with positioning, and leaves massive gaps when pushing forward, but the terrible performance during the second half against Sevilla can be blamed on the entire team – not just Moreno. He still has potential, and I have faith that Klopp can fix his problems., but even thought I believe we should sign a more defensive left-back, we currently have nobody better than Moreno.

For all those insisting Joe Gomez would be a better left-back, we only saw him in good form at the beginning of last season, and he now has injuries to recover from and then form to find. Good form can even make Moreno loved, when he’s scoring quality goals and creating the most chances in the league for a period.
