That’s how infamously bad Konchesky was. He’s made the least amount of appearances of any player who has worn the #3 shirt for Liverpool but is one of the most known for his ties to Hodgson as well as his putrid play.
Xavier was able to rack up three more appearances than Konchesky for Liverpool after joining from Everton. He was with Liverpool for a year before heading out to Turkey. Xavier played in seven different countries throughout his career, including a sojourn in Los Angeles with the Galaxy, as Steven Gerrard does now.
The defender scored on his debut for Liverpool despite never scoring in nearly a half century of matches for Everton.
