5. Bjorn Tore Kvarme /// 54 appearances /// 0 goals
Kvarme joined Liverpool on a free transfer in January of 1997 and went on to play for Liverpool until the turn of the century when Gerard Houllier brought in a few central defenders.
The Norwegian was prone to the high profile mistake, similar to Martin Skrtel, and it became too much for the club and couldn’t continue to select him, which is why Houllier felt the need to find replacements.
After leaving Liverpool, Kvarme made stops in France and Spain before returning to Norway to finish his career back at Rosenborg.
