Kenny Dalglish signed the leftback when he was just 19 for a fee of £550k ahead of the 1988-89 season and he was apart of Liverpool’s last title winning team in 1989-90.

Burrows claimed he was unhappy under Souness at Liverpool and was used as makeweight to sign Dicks from West Ham. Burrows didn’t stick around in London long, moving back to Merseyside just a season later where he joined Everton.
