Rotation? No problem at all, these are largely the backups at every position. (Pretend Henderson is Marko Grujic because he is yet to receive a card in FIFA.)

With Grujic, he’s really beginning to get fans to irrationally hope he’s ready to be the next Gerrard.

After scoring in consecutive friendlies, with well rounded performances to supplement the goals, he celebrated with passion that’d suggest a Premier League debut goal. That’s fun to see for fans. He didn’t exactly sprint to the corner and dropkick the flag or do anything silly, but a casual kneeslide with happiness and passion oozing off him was cool to see for a friendly.

As said, Clyne can play just about every single game, there’s no one challenging Moreno (yet) and no Liverpool fan wants to ever see Mignolet again.

Gomez, Ings and Lucas are making their first appearances in this list though they’ll be included much more often than that. It’s just difficult making teamsheets and regularly leaving Firmino, Coutinho, Sturridge and others out.

Liverpool are replete for options this season. Like, it took me six teamsheets to start to mention Ings and Gomez because in this Utopian medium, there aren’t any injuries or fatigue so it’s difficult taking the top end of the first teamers out of the lineup. But Gomez will rotate in across the defense during the season as will Ings in the front part of the team.

In real life, Sturridge will get hurt or at least handled cautiously, Firmino and Coutinho may hit a rough patch of form or fitness plus the regular injuries.

Even if a crisis hits, Liverpool will be in a great position to handle it. It’s going to be a fun season.
