1. Philippe Coutinho

Philippe Coutinho is the man at Liverpool. 2016/17 is primed to be the season that Coutinho bursts into the double digit goal tally for the Premier League at Liverpool, as he’s rounding into consistency, the last piece of his game he was yet to add.

Finishing and distance shooting used to be a weakness, but he’s assiduously worked at it to make it a strength. Well, kind of. Sometimes he gets overfilled with confidence and unleashes shots that’re most politely described as hopeful from distance, but he weaves it into this game well and makes him even more of a nightmare to defend because the opposition needs to respect that ability.

There are a ton of options that Klopp could decide every week for his first team. Liverpool have different options in attack, but Coutinho will be the first name on the teamsheet every week.
