Liverpool predicted XI vs Barcelona: First team tuneup

The Brazilian was stuck directly with all of the pressure to score goals last winter as Sturridge was (as usual) out injured, Coutinho picked up his own and Divock Origi was out plus still yet to bulk up and hit his end of season form.
Instead of crumbling under the pressure and playing as a long striker rather than a no. 10, Firmino thrived. At striker last season, he scored 6 goals and 5 assists in just 10 starts.
This season, Klopp will be counting on him for goals again but he won’t be expected to be the number one source with a (hopefully) healthy Sturridge and Origi. Plus with Mane and Wijnaldum signing, another year of development for Coutinho, the health of Ings, it appears set to be a balanced scoring attack for Klopp’s side. Firmino will accentuate it.
