DM Jordan Henderson

Henderson retains his place in the starting XI ahead of James Milner who (unfairly) loses out. As I’ve said before, if you’re selling your Jordan Henderson stock, I’m buying all of it. Give me it all.

The captain is 26. He had one disappointing year last season, yes, one that could be pinned mostly on injuries. How quickly people forget his quality and what he’s done for the club in years past.

Henderson accentuates all the players around him. His partnership with Can is budding and his work rate, like Can’s does, helps those ahead of him. He leads the team and buzzes around the midfield. I’m looking forward to a full season of him under Klopp and hopefully an injury free one.
