ST Daniel Sturridge

Sturridge is the man at Liverpool if he’s fit, it’s that simple.

After a full preseason, Sturridge has picked up a knock. Unfortunately for the striker, a knock seems to have the ability to evolve into something more. Hopefully this most recent hip knock is just that, so we’ll live optimistically and assume he’s good to go.

Sturridge, if he starts, will have a watered down version of the Arsenal defense. Without their three top choices in defense, Sturridge should feast.

Liverpool have a golden opportunity to steal three points from The Emirates on opening day with all of their missing pieces. Sturridge is someone that’ll convert that potential into tangible results.
