Substitutes

Divock Origi – 5

There was little for Origi to do in the remained of the game, and perhaps this change came too late.

Alberto Moreno – 5

His final ball failed to make it into the box on almost every occasion, and a pass straight to a Burnley player is probably his highlight.

Marko Grujic – 5.5

Tested the keeper not long after entering the game, but I feel his height could have been utilised as a last-ditch effort to score.

All in all, out-of-position players and a selection that didn’t compliment what Burnley did to counter us left us vulnerable. The midfield was too attack-heavy, and struggled to defend, and our attacking options lacked any physicality or height to score goals using other tactics. Personally, Jurgen Klopp had a game filled with horrific decisions.
