AML Philippe Coutinho

As Liverpool supporters, this slide may feel a bit odd. This is something called optimism.

Coutinho, at the time of writing, is a question to play or not. His hamstring flared up a bit this week and Klopp isn’t sure if he’ll be able to play, which is why he didn’t play a part against Burton over the week. Thankfully it’s been referred to as “not that serious” so we’re within reason to hope he’ll start. It’s plausible.

Against Arsenal, he was the difference maker. He’s got that quality. Though it won’t happen everyday, as it didn’t against Burnley. There just wasn’t enough space for him to operate which led to a glut of uninspiring 25-30 yard shots that sailed wayward.
