LB Alberto Moreno

It’s difficult standing on the hill defending Moreno. There aren’t many of me while there are a lot of attackers. It’s like going to war with Russia, there’s just so many of them. War of attrition. Winter comes, the will to carry on fighting is negligible. They win as they always do.

But carry on I will, futile as it may be. He’s still a young defender and want to see him given every chance this season to show improvement. For more on this pro-Moreno argument, see here from Rush The Kop‘s very own Ethan Lowe.

As impressed I am with Milner’s elasticity that he can play so many different positions, Moreno’s pace will be more than useful against Tottenham with how high octane they play. For all Moreno’s mistakes, he’s able to rectify a lot of them due to his speed.
