Throw this man a bone, let him play where he wants to be.

Milner isn’t a fullback. He plays the position diligently because he’s a brilliant team player, but it shouldn’t be a long term fix. It’s not fair to anyone.

Next to Henderson against Tottenham, Liverpool should have the two most industrious players on the pitch. As previously said, this match is set up to be frantic. That work rate will be invaluable. As will his experience and ability. Wijnaldum starting against Burnley makes more sense to get as much scoring options on the field as possible, but I’ll take Milner against Tottenham.
