Firmino is the only Liverpool player to appear in every preseason and competitive match of this new season, for whatever that’s worth. There’s no reason to suggest why he wouldn’t start against Spurs.

The Brazilian, like every other attacking player for Liverpool against Burnley, had an off day. The combination wasn’t there, nor was the finishing product. Hell, there wasn’t much going on in the middle third to write home about.

Firmino has earned the trust to figure it out next match, like he did against Burton over the week. He’ll be fine, Liverpool will be fine.
