Adam Lallana – 8

Oh how I love Adam Lallana. I’m still unsure on how well he’ll perform in a midfield three when we play teams with stronger players in the midfield, but he was brilliant today. Pairing with Wijnaldum, he never really left Jordan Henderson exposed. He tracked back, pressed, and worked his role well.

On the attack he was as creative as ever, and several chances came from him. He smashed home the third goal, and it was a really good finish for a player who has lacked an end product. Now adding goals to his game, Lallana is only getting better.
