CM Gini Wijnaldum
Though Wijnaldum admitted he’s still getting used to how Klopp wants his side to play, you wouldn’t know that by watching him.
Wijnaldum has looked sure of himself and his responsibilities in Klopp’s team. His success has been rooted in being a staid and consistent presence in the midfield, much unlike his more pyrotechnic days with Newcastle where he’d be the chief inspiration for goals.
The midfielder has snatched at his few chances in a Liverpool shirt, but I’d bank on him to right that wrong in the near future.
He may fall out of the regular starting lineup once Can is fully fit and un-rusted again, but he should continue to get opportunities.
