CB Mamadou Sakho

In memoriam: Mamadou Sakho’s Liverpool career, fatally stabbed by Jurgen Klopp (first wound by UEFA’s anti-doping team)

Look at this center back pairing– it’s borderline comical. This would’ve been my last suspected combination to start under Klopp.

Sakho seemed to be someone that Klopp fancied until the drug test, but he seemed to find a way to pick up an injury here and there. Skrtel was, well, Skrtel. My assumption would’ve been Lovren in defense and Toure would’ve been my second guess.

Or even Lucas Leiva in defense, but that transformation hadn’t happened yet at this stage.
