RB Nathaniel Clyne

Clyne has a legitimate stake to claim as the best fullback in the division. He may be pipped by Kyle Walker, but he’s certainly in the conversation.

The former Southampton man made the exodus from the coast to Liverpool a season after Adam Lallana, Dejan Lovren and Rickie Lambert after his former team closed that border for a season so not to lose too many players. But Liverpool were patient, and it has paid off.

Clyne has been a paragon of consistency and reliability, two qualities rarely synonymous with a Liverpudlian defender.
