CB Joel Matip: 7

Rarely needed, but always up to the challenge. He’s fantastic on the ball, confident in moving forward. A far cry from Martin Skrtel.

He’s like a Cameroonian Daniel Agger, who’s been able to stave injury issues. *knocks on wood until my knuckles bleed*

Nothing he could’ve done to preserve the clean sheet.
