Eight players that Liverpool need to start against Tottenham

Marko Grujic
If Loris Karius is our Sweet Prince, then Marko Grujic is his younger brother and also a prince.
The big difference is there wasn’t a glaring hole in the center of midfield like there was in goal last season. Grujic was always going to be an auxiliary player this season, he even admitted we won’t see his best until next term.
But he tickled our fancies this summer with some fantastic preseason performances. Listen, I know it’s preseason, but we’re Liverpool fans. This is what we do. If he played well in a charity game against players who had all been retired, I would have found a way to get excited about it.
Grujic couldn’t sniff the starting XI with Emre Can out and he’s pushed one more spot away with him back.
The League Cup should be the Marko Grujic Showcase Tournament so long that Liverpool are involved.
