Kevin Stewart

Are we sure he remembers how to start games? Because he’s been limited to making appearances that last about three minutes at the end of games this season.

Stewart is a valuable squad player, he proved as much last year with professional performances when called upon.

The issue that may begin to creep up is regular playing time, because he’ll never find it here. If he’s content being a minuscule fish in a giant pond, then all the better for Liverpool. If he wants more regular playing time somewhere in sacrificing team achievements he won’t reach elsewhere, then that’s cool too and the Reds will have to replace his presence in the squad.

At any rate, starting against his former team in the League Cup is something that needs to happen.
